I played in a couple metal bands in Atlanta for almost a decade, but it's been over 10 years since I've been around people to talk metal with. I only keep up with a few bands, like Ulver, Neurosis, Old Man Gloom and Deftones, anymore.

Back when I was driving Uber, I picked up this couple from a local bar. Members of Slayer, Machine head, Tesla, and a couple of other bands were all there (former drummer of machine head actually owned one of the bars in the area). They all decided to do a random jam session that night. Was pissed to miss it.
