That's a cherry picker, not a crane.

Next up. Teddy.

For a second there it sounded like Teddy was turning into an actual threat instead of mild inconvenience and excuse to blast old school music. I definitely didn't hear category 4. Nosiree.
Double landfall for NOLA in the forecast next week.
Again.
The last 3 have all missed, ones gotta connect eventually
Missed what? I'm pretty sure Sally and that other tropical storm made landfall. O_o
They missed the NOLA area.
Marco dissipated before it hit, Laura ended up going further West and Sally shifted East like a day before it was due to make landfall. All 3 were projected to hit NOLA dead on at various points in their tracks.
Damn we got two months left and we are 4 named storms away from breaking 2005’s record...
It's a 4 now, some of the fastest intensification in recorded history.
For reference, the last storm to do this in this area was Wilma in 2005, which eventually went down as the most intense cyclone in Atlantic history.
There is a model forecasting this storm to reach 190 MPH. This would be the strongest ever hurricane in the Western Hemisphere.
I have never seen numbers like this in 15+ years of following this kind of data. Completely insane stuff
Another Hurricane is taking aim at Louisiana. It might it New Orleans this time.

Yeah but it ain't shit. Will barely be a cat 1 when it makes landfall and is moving so fast it won't even dump that much rain, last I heard like 3 inches in my area. Wind fucking up some power lines notwithstanding I'd imagine most of the NOLA area will probably just sleep thru it and then go about their day come Thursday morning
It came on shore as a strong CAT 2 with winds of 110mph. I don't know about NO but Biloxi Mississippi looks pretty bad.
