Was at Walmart grabbing a few things before heading home from work. Come out of the bathroom and notice this guy is blatantly looking at me while trying not to be overly obvious. I can't figure out why since I'm in my BDU work pants and a navy t-shirt. Then he stops me and says he loves my shirt, when I remember it has the phrase " The art of positive drinking". I thank him and he insists he needs a pic of the shirt so actually asks some random customer to take a pic of me with him lol.

Definitely the most random encounter I've had in a long time but made me laugh.
Only at Walmart I swear.

It's been back for a while but I didn't even notice until now.

So long ago, I was helping a European friend buy and sell transformers. I lost contact with him.long ago, though most of it was sold. Yesterday my brother called me as they are cleaning out my Nana's old house as a sale is pending, telling me he found some transformers that were still in their boxes. Wound up finding a proverbial gold mine.

Among the things found was a Toys r Us commemorative release of optimus prime still sealed. That goes for $250-200. Also found open in box (though the boxes have some wear) Slag, Sludge and Grimlock, all with the majority of their accessories, including 2 missles each still attached to the plastic frames.

The real big ones was a Japanese new in box power master optimus prime with the extra accessories, and a new in box japanese g1 re-release of megatron.

After a year and a half, I finally have cell phone signal at the downstairs area of work. Previously all signal to my provider was blocked by the structure.

Got a new manager about a month ago. My old manager offered me a (small) promotion and to be on his team about a month ago with a minor pay increase. Apparently the ladies in HR were drawing up the paperwork, but today my new manager offered me a much bigger promotion for a lead role with (hopefully a much) higher salary.

Haven't seen the numbers yet to make sure it's worth it, but I'm in the process of looking for a house to buy so any decent salary increase will make me happy/relieve some stress in that department.

Been going through the closet, finding games, checking them and reselling them. Had two that go for 20+ each for the GBA though that wouldn't run. Finally got a bottle of 99% Isopropyl Alcohol. So far, got one of the two up and running. Not sure if I can save the other as it was nasty under the circuit board, but if I get both up and running, I'll be damn proud of myself.

Celebrated two years with the Sheriff's Office yesterday and also finished probation for my promotion I took 6 months ago.

Now trying to transfer to the coroner's bureau since there is an opening. Hoping for the best so I can leave the jail work environment.

I picked up for fiance yesterday after a girls day of drinking cause she wasn't sober enough to drive, and today on the way to pick up her car we stopped at the casino and I pulled in $750 with blackjack.

Also beating the brother in law in fantasy when he was projected to beat me. What a great sunday!
