Anyone have any experience with using this "segment" of screens for meeting room screens (presentations/video meetings etc.) connected to regular laptops via HDMI/DP?

with Covid-19 most our smaller meeting rooms are being used mostly for videomeetings with our people sitting hunched over their laptop screens. So I was thinking about installing some larger wall-mounted screens, and a lot of the 50-55" digital signage screens are relatively inexpensive compared to TV/regular PC screens of similar dimensions. We don't need ultralow latency, but IPS is nice, and we want 4k screens.

It seems to me that PDs should be perfect for our use, but I am concerned there is something obvious i am missing.
