I mean, justice is blind. If you still have one eye, you're obviously wrong.

not blind unless you lost them both plus now you got an awesome pirate patch
I had an eyepatch when I flew to Afghanistan the first time. It was gnarly as fuck but it, um, does make you stand out.
Had to wear an eye patch a few times getting my eyelids lanced. Wearing an eye patch coupled with me having long dreadlocks back then, kids got real curious about me.

The city of Louisville announced on Tuesday a $12 million settlement with the family of Breonna Taylor and a number of changes in how local officers obtain and execute search warrants, among the largest payouts for a police killing in the nation’s history, according to a Taylor family attorney.
Louisville police killed Breonna Taylor, 26, while executing a “no-knock” search warrant at her apartment during a drug raid in March that uncovered no illegal substances and has become a driving symbol in the Black Lives Matter movement.
The settlement, which follows a wrongful-death lawsuit that Taylor’s family filed in May, requires police commanders to approve all search warrant applications that are submitted to a judge, said Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer (D) during a news conference Tuesday afternoon. Louisville police will also have to conduct extensive risk assessments before applying for a warrant.
Cool can we arrest the officers already?/

The U.S. Department of Justice today identified the following three jurisdictions that have permitted violence and destruction of property to persist and have refused to undertake reasonable measures to counteract criminal activities: New York City; Portland, Oregon; and Seattle, Washington. The Department of Justice is continuing to work to identify jurisdictions that meet the criteria set out in the President’s Memorandum and will periodically update the list of selected jurisdictions as required therein.
Tarage should move to FL so he can finally achieve his forum-long dream of mass murdering Republicans
NYC has become an absolute shithole. There's garbage everywhere. Violence is out of control. People are flooding to Long Island because they're sick of it.
It's causing a housing market boom all over Long Island and houses are being sold in 1-2 days after being listed and for thousands over asking price.
NYC was a shithole for 60 years and enjoyed a brief turnaround because Giuliani murdered all the homeless people. Still have the best pizza anywhere on Earth though.
Also Long Island is worse than any part of NYC except maybe Staten Island, that's a dead heat.

If I had to choose between Staten Island and Long Island I'd probably pick Staten Island because at least I'd die faster.

I have a lot of friends in NY that say they avoid Brooklyn and the Bronx recently because of the situation but it's more out of annoyance and disruption than anything. Dude's post reads like a Trump tweet. You really think if violence was "out of control" you wouldn't be hearing more about it in the biggest city on the continent?
New York went from violent shithole to one of the safest cities in America but yeah my friends from out there say they can sense a shift already, and crime stats of all kinds appear to be breaking bad
their homicide rate in 2018 was 289 compared to a high of 2245 in 1990 (the then murder capital of the USA babyyy), actually a remarkable success story.
