I think since UT initiated the investigations and is handing down harsh penalties, they might get off with only like 1-2 years of probation. Maybe less. Not like that matters...it would take any new hire that long to recruit anyway.

Fulmer apparently is done too.

Butch Jones was the guy, but wasn't given enough time. Will see what happens, but for now the SEC East will remain UGA + UF and then everyone else.

I saw him as bringing stability to the program after what, 2 coaches in 3 years? He wasn't going to be winning the SEC year in and year out but after Fulmer left everything dried and barren and Dooley had to clean up Kiffin's mess, he was the guy you needed to be there for longer than he was just to regain a steady 8-9 win season.

Pruitt was never an upgrade. He was a great assistant that took advantage of desperation on the part of UT.

I have very close friends who were on the Butch teams. The locker room hated him and didn't respect him, at all.

Kiffin was a good hire that fucked them. Dooley was a bad hire. Butch was a bad hire. Schiano would have been a bad hire. Pruitt was a bad hire.

They just had a long streak of fuck ups. None of those dudes after Kiffin were the answer.
