Haven't been following the Packers off-season, no idea whether cutting Kumerow is smart or dumb

It seems silly for the team to release a guy who AR12 seemed to think was worth keeping on the roster since he's the one actually making the throws to the guy, but it's most likely a nothingburger some media heads are trying to talk up to fuel more "Rodgers leaving the Pack" hype train.

It's not like we're talking about something truly stupid like playing Giannis sub 36 minutes when facing elimination.

What about Cook> J.Jones> Drake in a walking boot makes you think 6 teams lol. Looks like a pretty standard mid round draft and a lot of question marks.

I have Cook/Drake on one of my teams too and I hate it. Could be fine, could be a dumpster fire.

It's 12 team 1PPR and I was drafting on my phone at my in-laws dinner table. Picked 8th- I think, Jones should absolutely not have been there but everything else is not so hot. With the exception of league MVP Tom Brady.

NFL nixed Saints' wild sign-and-trade plan to land Jadeveon Clowney, Sean Payton says

The New Orleans Saints certainly didn't give up on free-agent defensive end Jadeveon Clowney without a fight, before he ultimately chose the Tennessee Titans on Saturday.

Coach Sean Payton confirmed Monday that the Saints explored the idea of a unique sign-and-trade deal with an unspecified team to help them fit Clowney's salary under the cap. However, the NFL said such a deal would not be allowed.

The idea was for another team to sign Clowney and pay his signing bonus -- then immediately trade Clowney and his remaining salary to the Saints in exchange for a draft pick. The other team essentially would have been "buying" a draft pick, which the NFL has never allowed.
