Wow, Rams continue tradition of overpaying on wild contracts. Ramsey paid big.
saints and iggles are by far the worst but rams arent great
the rams big issue is they haven't had a 1st round draft pick in forever which is how you save your cap
"Over the cap" is a myth in the NFL anyways with how frequently contracts get renegotiated.
Reported by multiple sources that they were *still* over the cap and his contract allowed a restructure that brought them below the cap for 2020. He accounted for like $12+ mil on their 2020 cap before the new contract. They are in a world of trouble in 2021 with a much lower salary cap.
Aren’t the Falcons in reallllllly bad cap shape too?
Good riddance to the stain that was Aqua Talib, as he announces his retirement.
It’s a very good thing that the NFL was going to deny the recent Saints/Jags/Ravens bullshit for cap/draft pick trading. Leave that baseball bullshit out of the NFL. It’s would be awful for football.
That’s REALLY when the cap becomes a myth. The salary cap is probably one of the very top reasons that make it so much better than other pro sports leagues.
Ryan Shazier officially retired
Plus the NHL + NBA have a salary cap as well
Remember when Romo was gonna be the Houston QB? Pepperidge farm remembers
There is an absolute hard cap in the NBA where you couldn't sign even a minimum contract player anymore, it's just incredibly hard to reach
Apples/Oranges compared to the NFL. May the NFL never be in that sorry ass state.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Pro Bowl wide receiver Mike Evans has an undisclosed soft tissue injury that could jeopardize his availability to play against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
Coach Bruce Arians described Evans' status as day-to-day.
"We'll take it all the way to the wire with him," Arians said of Evans. "He's got 1,000 reps already for this game, the whole camp. So it'll just be a game-time decision. If he doesn't go Friday, we'll take it all the way to the ballgame. If he can't play, other guys will step in and step up."
You love to see it: Brandon Cooks listed as questionable.
Lmao
