Having been playing XIII-3, I could use for another FF to use that style of combat. It's realtime combat with reaction checks, but blends in ATB style elements in the process. None of the zip-zap-bop stuff like XV had with warp strike abuse and poor enemy hitboxes that kept sliding you aside.
I like how they're calling it "story focused mode" in XVI instead of just laying it flat and saying "Yes it has an easy-difficulty mode".
