Wouldn't surprise me at all if this was all timed in a way to release the PC version with the DLC all available immediately. Yoshi-P is neurotic enough to do that on purpose.

I haven't watched it yet. I never played many rogues/roguelikes/roguelites, etc, but GoW Valhalla's free DLC was my first interaction with anything like that that stood out and it was fun as hell. If it's half of what that was, should be a good time.

Honestly, and this is before anyone can play it and know for sure so grain of salt, this DLC seems to aim to "fix" the two big things people (including me) found lacking in the game:

-some unaddressed plot elements
-general lack of difficulty

The way it sounded makes it seem like this thing is really going to let the combat system stretch its legs which I'm all for.

Really hope SE doesn't just throw away this game's combat for future titles. It has a good base to work out of and iterate.

This and some tweaks from X-2 and XII to accommodate additional party members, nearly perfect honestly.

I think it could be, but I don't know how anyone can say that definitively when you can sleepwalk through everything put in front of us so far. We have no idea what an actual fight would look like in that system.

They confirmed today that the XIV and XVI crossover will be "early April" and I *think* they will announce specific date tomorrow. And possibly the PC release date.

Early always means the first 10 days, so its either the 2nd or 9th.
