After just playing through MHGU between World and Rise, Valstrax is so hype. Really loved his design in that game and can't wait to see what he'll be like in Rise.

Also which type of talisman meld is the best?

Guessing it’s the choose the skill one and get multiple talisman ?

I think any of the choosing skill ones are capped at lower qualities/lower amounts of the skill you're after. So, best charms are only from the two melding options that are unlocked after the final boss (wisp of mystery and rebirth for unwanted talismans), but you get to deal with pretty random charms you're getting.

The guy is stuck in the cursed tabled. It’s sad your either forced to make new character or just do rebirth/wait for fix(if Capcom decides to).

I really hope Capcom does something about the AFKers next patch too. Farming Diablos and one run I noticed it's just me and someone else while the party is capped. Turns out 2 of the idiots were at camp the entire time and just moving around slightly to avoid getting marked as Away.

Yeah I know I can kick them in the player list but still, gets annoying seeing these guys pop up trying to get easy mats.

I've only had that happen once when I joined a quest in progress, and I was just watching the party leader kind of just sitting at camp, wandering around near camp, never really going anywhere while I waited at the monster and eventually just bailed. Definitely not farming a monster for someone else if they are just going to sit there and do nothing lol.

Is the attack + Decoration worth it?

In my hammer build I use Atlas Hammer so I capped Bludgeon and Slugger at 3
Wondering if attack+ is worth it too

Attack Boost is better here then it was in World.

After weakness exploit (which to be fair isn't required in this game like it was in World, I don't use it on Charge Blade or Pierce LBG) it's far and away the best offensive skill, every build should get it to at least 4 so the % boost to attack kicks in

Are there any tricks to help you out on low drops? Been trying to get a gem and it seems to have a 3% chance of getting acquired all around the board for beeaks/captures/carves/etc

After finishing most of the game I finally had the first group actually stop attacking when a monster goes to sleep. Still, it seems like almost no one knows what to do in that situation.

Unrelated I think I'm getting comfortable enough with the wirebugs that I might switch to taking a Palico into group hunts.

I've only seen a small handful of people that know what to do. I honestly don't expect much so I don't bother carrying bombs with me... which makes me feel like an idiot in the 1/100 chance where if a monster does sleep and people actually stop attacking they'll set up.

Wow there's almost nothing good for level 1 slots on gear for decos. Only things that look useful to me are flinch free/defense boost

Monster Hunter Digital Event - April 2021 is coming up next week(27th).


So the update will be on 30th on Friday.

They sure meant late April for this update. Kept hoping everyday I'd wake up to a release date for it lol.

Capcom confirmed the charm table fix is going to be part of the 2.0 update

Got critical boost talisman(no slot). Didn’t think it existed, shame it’s meh with current armor sets.

I’ve been saving most of my material for next week update(killed final boss 102 times so far), hope they’ll add another melding method with higher Chance of skills and slots.

This 2.0 patch doesn't have offline rank upgrade right?

Only new HR stuff?

It sounds like it is probably just new Hub related quests/HR increase, but not sure really anyone knows for sure.

I'd assume a new rank for the hub post-Narwa with the new monsters added in there (though I'd guess Apex Rathalos will just be a Rampage quest again unfortunately, would really rather have the Apex monsters as normal quests)
