Seattle Seahawks radio host Dori Monson has been suspended indefinitely by both the team and media company Bonneville over a transphobic tweet, sources told The Athletic's Michael-Shawn Dugar.

Monson sent the tweet during the Washington gubernatorial debate Wednesday night.

He did not record his weekly show with Seahawks coach Pete Carroll this week and was not on his radio show Friday afternoon.

There was no immediate comment from Monson, the Seahawks or Bonneville.
