Tbf our society is designed to churn out chuds with no critical thinking skills and cognitive impairments to boot. We need social programs that make it easier to care for (particularly feed) young children and we need to combine it with improvements to our primary education system.

On top of that, we have various global catastrophes on the horizon (climate change, proliferation of nukes, etc.)

And those were just the immediate crises *before* COVID.
