I'm just expecting the same "They look like they learned their lesson!" and that being that until they unsurprisingly do it all over again.

Texas Republicans will redouble their efforts to pass new voting restrictions by convening a second special House session this weekend, hardening a stalemate with Democratic legislators whose exodus to Washington had left the bill in limbo while they push for federal voting rights legislation.
Gov. Greg Abbott (R) announced Thursday that the new legislative session will begin Saturday, a move that will force Democrats to decide whether to stay out of Texas for another 30 days or return and face the threat of arrest for breaking quorum. Abbott named election policy as one of several items on the new agenda.
“I will continue to call special session after special session to reform our broken bail system, uphold election integrity, and pass other important items that Texans demand and deserve,” Abbott said in a statement. “Passing these Special Session agenda items will chart a course towards a stronger and brighter future for the Lone Star State.”

Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan (R) escalated a showdown with Democratic lawmakers who broke quorum for the third time over voting rights, signing arrest warrants Tuesday that a spokesman said would be delivered “for service” Wednesday morning.
The move followed approval of a House motion to send for absent members, which enabled Phelan to issue the warrants. The Texas Supreme Court on Tuesday also stayed a trial court judge’s ruling that would have protected absent Democrats from arrest.

One if Sidney Powell's sources from the Kraken lawsuits, Terpsichore Maras, is suing Dominion for $3.4B because she says they cannot prove that her claims are untrue. She also says that she cannot prove her claims are actually true either.
Maras’s lawsuit accuses Dominion of slander because it “cannot disprove” that her conspiracy theories, listing her in its $1.30 billion lawsuit against Powell as a crew member of “wholly unreliable sources.” The mostly inscrutable affidavit includes photographs of math equations in notebooks and speculates about the involvement of George Soros and Chinese hardware manufacturers. Maras herself admits that she “can’t prove anyone manipulated anything” because “TRAP DOOR KEY HOLDERS can offer you enough to verify to you what you need to see without revealing anything and once again indicating the inability to detect manipulation.” Then adds this punchy conclusion: “ZERO PROOF of INTEGRITY OF THE VOTE.”
“Therefore, the Defendants are declaring that the Plaintiff is guilty of the crime of perjury by portraying it as false information,” Maras concludes. (Dominion’s hundreds of pages of complaints in various libel suits take great pains to sift through and refute piles of nonsense.) Maras goes on to claim that Dominion’s doubt about her credibility, buried in a 124-page complaint, has directly exposed her to “most extreme hatred and contempt and has harmed Plaintiff’s professional reputation and her credibility.” Various outlets had already widely questioned Maras’s qualifications elsewhere.
Maras is seeking $1.7 billion in compensatory damages and another $1.7 billion in punitive damages.
So we have now come to the, "You can't disprove God" defense.
Except in this case they probably can disprove her claims lol

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) on Tuesday signed into law a bill that creates strict new voting rules in the state, ending a months-long effort by Democrats to stall the legislation by denying Republicans a quorum in the House.
But the law already faces at least five challenges in state and federal courts, with dozens of organizations and individuals suing Texas GOP leaders and local elections officials. Abbott said he did not think the legal challenges would derail the legislation.
“I feel extremely confident that when this law makes it through the litigation phase, it will be upheld in a court of law,” Abbott told reporters in Tyler, Tex., where he signed the bill. “No one who is eligible to vote will be denied the opportunity to vote. It does, however, make it harder for cheaters to cast an illegal ballot.”
At the end of the day it's going to cost them a couple dozen "My dead parents also voted Republican!" votes.
This law and the abortion law are all created with the crazy fucks in mind. With the abortion law, they are making crazy fucks bounty hunters. With this one, they are allowing "Poll watchers" to do anything they want at polling places. It even hurts the official polling people's ability to do anything to poll watchers if they are overstepping. They are betting on the crazy fucks going to certain polling places and trying to do voter intimidation. And it will work.
time for some game theory

State secretaries from Arizona, Michigan, & Wisconsin sent forged documents to the U.S. Senate and the U.S. Archivist declaring Trump the winner of their states.
It was on Dec. 14, 2020, when Wisconsin electors met in the state capitol for an official ceremony in which the state formally assigned its electors for the electoral college. There wasn't anything unusual about this: On the same day, every state did this, with Trump electors being assigned in states won by the GOP ticket, and Biden electors being assigned in states won by the Democratic ticket.
But as we discussed a couple of weeks ago, the process in the Badger State became a little messier: While the actual electors were being assigned inside the state capitol in Madison, a group of Wisconsin Republicans quietly held a separate, fake ceremony — in the same capitol, at the same time — to cast electoral votes for Trump, despite his defeat in the state.
They then proceeded to forge the official paperwork and sent it to, among others, the U.S. Senate and the U.S. Archivist. As Trump's team pushed its discredited voter fraud narrative, the National Archives received forged certificates of ascertainment declaring him and then-Vice President Mike Pence the winners of both Michigan and Arizona and their electors after the 2020 election. Public records requests show the secretaries of state for those states sent those certificates to the Jan. 6 panel, along with correspondence between the National Archives and state officials about the documents.
Trump unironically correct when talking about election fraud in 2020
Just some good old fashioned sedition.
So you're telling me that actual voters are not causing systemic voter fraud?!?! But what about all those polling security measures we gotta implement to [s]keep minorities from voting[/s] save America?
