So around 2 months ago I noticed Destiny 2 was free to play and decided to give it a try and play through the original story and Osiris and Warmind before they got vaulted (I left right before Rise of Iron in Destiny 1). Now i've decided to stick around and just do dailies atm (gonna wait until Black Friday to see if the expansions go on sale and maybe get Playstation Plus). So, happy to see familiar faces from Destiny 1 on PS4.

Got a question, are Savathun and Xivu still beholden to their worms? It seems silly Oryx would bring them back to life with that limitation. This is further confirmed by Xivu's getting out of dodge from being unable to accept how strong Oryx had become. We know the lesser hive still have their worms since words still drop from the occasional precision kill.
So the follow up question is what the heck do Savathun and Xivu want if they are no longer beholden to the worm gods and by proxy, the darkness?

It has been years since I've read the Book of Sorrow, but I believe the answer is yes. If I'm not mistaken, killing them and bringing them back was to allow the three of them to keep growing stronger after they reached a wall, and I believe that growth was tied to the worms.

Yeah I completely forgot that they had throne worlds as well and as such didn't have final death -> ressurection.

Also, I feel like we forget that Bungie has been working from home since March. That likely had an effect on bug testing/fixing. Also, some bugs are the result of just odd stuff interacting (Malfeasance with Stasis).
