I love the fact a unknown player group got world first and people who they advertised for world first are stuck at raid.

Looks like Ascend + Slayer got 2nd. They're just happy about being one of the first groups to clear it. Haven't heard any salt from them about getting 2nd. Now the madlads are going to try for flawless. Not sure how serious they are about it, but they're changing characters now.

According to reddit the raid going down has opened up new quests from Variks and the Stranger, along with the Lament exotic sword questline.

So cloudstrike sniper is also up for grabs, its from a new hunt mission from variks after unlocking some more stuff from him. I got it finally to drop. Its nice

Don't dismantle the gear from variks (crystocrene or whatever), 2 of the newly unlocked sabatoges require you to have minimum 4 pieces equipped.

Exo has a new quest that rewards a sidearm. After finishing it new sabatoges were unlocked. Progressing through them, variks also had a second page where you can now do specific weapon quests, including the rocket launcher and auto rifle.
