Biden on Monday announced key foreign policy and national security picks, including making former secretary of state John F. Kerry a special envoy for climate.
Biden confirmed that he plans to name Antony Blinken as secretary of state, Jake Sullivan as national security adviser and Linda Thomas-Greenfield as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.
Biden also announced that he plans to nominate Alejandro Mayorkas to lead homeland security and Avril Haines as director of national intelligence.
The announcement includes several potential firsts: Mayorkas, a former deputy secretary of homeland security, would be the first Latino to lead the Department of Homeland Security; while Haines, a former deputy director of the CIA, would be the first woman to head the intelligence community.
Biden said he would also restore the job of U.S. ambassador to the United Nations to Cabinet-level status, further diversifying that body. Thomas-Greenfield is an African American woman.
Janet Yellen for Treasury Sec. She would be the 1st women to have that role
Can't wait for Merrick Garland to be AG.

Office of Management and Budget (oversees the federal workforce) is probably gearing up to try to fire almost 90% of their employees. Previous Trump appointee quit to avoid being the hatchetman.
Posted here because Biden is going to be the one this fucks.
Sounds like something that would be easy enough to revert. Can Vought, reclassify whatever jobs you see fit, and hire replacements.
Speaking of OMB, my apologies AG but here's a thread:

If all they do is convert them to Schedule F, that's true. If they fire them all, the people would have to all fight it legally long enough for the next administration to take over.
If they don't take being fired to the courts, the government would have to re-hire all the fired people, which would take months because their shit hiring process is worse than their shit firing process.
The sad thing here is that Republicans are right that we need more accountability in the federal government, but firing people without making it possible to hire anyone is just trolling.

Biden's dog injured him.
President-elect Joe Biden fractured his right foot while playing with one of his dogs, an injury discovered in a scan Sunday and that will likely require him to wear a boot for several weeks, his doctor said.
Biden suffered the injury on Saturday.
Biden sustained the injury playing with Major, one of the Bidens’ two dogs. They adopted Major in 2018, and acquired their first dog, Champ, after the 2008 election.
Dude old ass needs to chill... this isn't the time to test this shit.
