Tom Vilsack for Sec. of Agriculture

Ok, so Pfizer and Moderna have both pledged 100mil vaccines at 2 doses per person which means 100mil vaccinated. Pfizer has said they can do another 100mil by Q3, which gets us to 150mil vaccinated.
Idk about you all but I am not in the top 50% of US society in terms of risk so my vaccination date right now is 2022. If half the country ops out, I might get it towards the middle of next year, but then we are fucked anyway. We need >75% vaccination rate to be able to resume BAU (arguably ~85%).
Can we invoke the DPA for this and get anything out of it?
That's assuming a lot of the people not getting it aren't already positive for antibodies, no? I also wish we prioritized antibody negative people, but oh well

Thats also assuming theres no other vaccines approved.
Also whats DPA?
I think there's still the other candidates that are continuing with trials (AstraZeneca, Janssen Pharmaceutica/Johnson & Johnson, Novavax to name a few.) End of Q3/start Q4 2021 I think we hit 60-70% vaccination rate under the most optimistic circumstances.
I think I'm near the front of the line compared to the general public being an essential biotech worker. Dad is ahead of me because age.
DPA won't make this go any faster. Scaling up more than what is currently projected means validating sites and processes for manufacturing expansion. While it would scale things up, it will take months before it's up and running.
Then add supply chain logistics, using validated materials. It's a fucking pain in the ass. Speaking from experience so you understand how much this sucks. So say a vendor changes how a 2mL tube looks. As an end user, we want the way it was so we want to buy it from another company.
So hoop #1) is it an approved vendor?
#2) Does it conform to ISO standards?
#3) Add material to the SOP/critical components document
#4) wait for approval from technical operations
#4a) get a wall of text asking to run validation tests between old material and new material
#5) tell them fuck no and cry a bit
#6) actually do the validations and submit data
#7) wait for them to analyze data since they have a queue of requests
#8) finally get approval 6-8 weeks later
And repeat that for equipment and process validations. It's a pain in the ass. Pfizer and Moderna are probably maxing out their current manufacturing output to get this product out. But it would take at least 6 months to get a new facility online.

Hunter is being investigated for his "tax affairs" in Delaware.
The probe was disclosed five days before Joe Biden, a former senator from Delaware, is expected to be formally selected as the next president by the Electoral College.
Hunter Biden said in a statement, “I learned yesterday for the first time that the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware advised my legal counsel, also yesterday, that they are investigating my tax affairs.”
“I take this matter very seriously but I am confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisors,” Hunter Biden said.
CNN later reported Wednesday that it had contacted Hunter Biden’s lawyer and his father’s presidential campaign last week seeking comment on the investigation, which CNN reported is “examining multiple financial issues, including whether Hunter Biden and associates violated tax and money laundering laws in business dealings in foreign countries, principally China.”

The owner of the store mysteriously closed his shop and moved to Russia.
He closed his knockoff apple store and left town due to death threats (3 weeks after the election). Not clear where he went, but probably not international travel.
