Welcome to the thread where we can all discuss Brandon Sanderson's grand novel and graphic novel universe known as the Cosmere.

1) Spoiler tags on new novels/novellas. Spoiler tags for Stormlight 5 through July 2025.

2) Future new novel & novella spoiler tag requirements will vary depending on content. Novellas will be 1 month. Novels 3 months. Stormlight Archive Books 6 months.

3) All other Cosmere novels released are fair game and do not require spoilers. All who enter are warned if they haven't read any of the other novels.

4) Yes, BG knows that there's a big divide over Era 2 of Mistborn. Unless it is constructive, leave the "Wax and Wayne sucks" or "Why you be hating on Wax and Wayne?" at the door.

Think the big Dawnshard secret will stay Cosmere info only or will it seep into Stormlight Archive? Same with the Sleepless. I can see them going completely unmentioned in the main Stormlight series.

I can't imagine the point of it being the novella between Oathbringer and Rhythm of War if it was gonna stay Cosmere only. Edgedancer very heavily played into the next book.

So amped for RoW; Stormlight is the best long-form epic fantasy series actively going imo (ASoIaF can rejoin the convo if WoW ever gets published).

Reading the epigraphs and how the flying machine works, allomatic metals are having some interesting interactions with spren and stormlight. The push/pull of brass and zinc for example. It's going to be interesting when different invested technologies mix and learn how this all blends together to eventually make FTL space flight.

I'll be back to this thread. Just finished my Book 2 + 3 run, but now I need to check out Dawnshard. Is that available only on Kindle or anywhere else? I'll probably just read a synopsis but my fellow reading group highly recommends it.

Wish I had more time to read. Only really get 20-30 min a day on work break. Just made it to chapter 6. At least this book will make waiting for the last 2 Dresden files books to come to paperback
