I've done it before when the grease was bothering my guts very badly but i needed the protein. It makes for some very, very, very bland meat. I still drain the grease with a collander, but rinsing it just rinses all the seasoning away.

Depends on what you are doing to the meat as the oil can break up a sauce, so draining is nbd. But actually washing it into the sink is just yuck and overdoing it.

If you want to get grease off meat after pan frying it, throw it on a plate lined with some paper towels.
