my point really had more to do with a bunch of young guys trying to figure it out, but losing games they're not supposed to because of said youth. and that's where the front office plan takes over and fills in the gap with solid veterans, good coaches, and good player development (which was far and few in between for those clipper teams).
the clippers at the time tried to skip ahead of the curve by trading darius miles for andre miller. but miller absolutely detested the team and everything just went to hell.
