You can hate the man all you want deejay, but he still deserved roty over Mitchell.

Also seems like Tillman stepped in and wouldn't let the team trade Harden to the Sixers just to spite Morey.
Not a huge shock lol. Zach Lowe was reporting that the Rockets could've had Ben Simmons if they wanted him
Not that it would've necessarily been a better trade, but it was available
That rockets team is so strange now

WE NEED THE BUBBLE BACK
the narrative here was that he’d be the next lebrawnjames but tbh that was the narrative everywhere
I remember calling him a glorified role player and everyone seemed to take issue with it as if he were destined for gr8ness

KAT got the rona
I mean, the problem with "what he is" is that this version of him is playing out of position next to Embiid and is still really good. I think it's very clear that Simmons becomes a legitimate option 2 player, like Paul George, on a contender if that team that works better with his fundamental game. He can be the fulcrum inside for an elite team if he's in a better fit. See my comparison to Draymond, who was the 4th most important piece but was also completely necessary to the Warriors. Simmons could be the HQ version of that, with some offensive threat. Him and Embiid are the classic "stacking talent without good fit" problem.
In like, an all-star game this wouldn't matter, but for the 76ers working undr a cap they can't make up the difference if they are getting such inefficient return out of their max salary slots.
So you’re basically saying Ben Simmons will reach his full potential when he either a) learns to shoot or b) plays with 2+ top 50 players who cover his weaknesses
Sounds like a glorified role player to me

When he gets to play small ball 5 with a top 50 wing instead of getting his game sacrificed
Side eyeing the Magic/Nets on my laptop while I'm watching NFL...
Harden is moving off ball, I honestly didn't know he could do that. He's spent the last decade as a statue if the ball wasn't in his hands.

S/O to my Knicks having the #1 defense in the league and bodying the lowly warriors last night
You know damn well the only reason y'all won was because of the refs ejecting Draymond for yelling at his own teammate
that was hilarious
but damn Knickerbockers really rocking one of the league's best defenses. say what you want about Thibodeau but the man is a defensive genius.
