Rush was an OG troll, and he was fantastic at it.

Last couple times I went there for rudimentary computer stuff - an internal HDD, a USB mic, and they just...had nothing.
Yeah, they used to be my go to place for cables and such as pricing was close to monoprice without having to wait for shipping.
But in all honesty, it's been dead for years. It was a husk on life support for the past few years. I will miss the themeing of lost of the stores though. Especially vegas and fountain valley stores.

I have so many fond memories of Fry’s. I know competition vs newegg and amazon is tough but I don’t think I ever seem to see them try in spite of the growing market.
Oh please don't be Microcenter next. I need to consider a new mobo and cpu package.
I'm kind of hoping it's Best Buy next. Or maybe the one where I'm at is shit and the others are fine
I think it may be just yours. I expense a lot of stuff for work and use a best buy credit card almost exclusively to get points for games. They consistently have some of the best deals out there and pretty solid customer service compared to other places. Their price match policy is also crazy for elite members. I always buy games for full price on release day and every single time it drops to at least $45 (usually $30) within the return window and I just match it then. This goes for almost everything I buy from there. I once bought a fridge for 2.2k and PMd it down to 1500.
Best Buy's whole price matching thing is pretty dope, and you can find absolutely money deals from their open box stuff.
As long as you go into a Best Buy already knowing what you're looking for and not relying on the staff, they're golden.
Yeah Best Buy is pretty good for me. It's also my goto place for release date stuff if I need it early in the day (if not, I can wait for Amazon)
Plus they are the best place for steelbooks at the moment.
Best Buy and Microcenter will be fine. Plus they have robust online shopping.
Frys was corporate ownership squeezing a corpse dry of cash for the past 7+ years.
