He might have been an annoying dickweed in real life but it's a crap way to go out. The Big C doesn't screw around.
I have a feeling he knew back when they announced he had cancer, went digging around his twitter to see if he had any public introspection to offer in his wake.
The man retweeted FF: All The Bravest 12 times between Nov 2018 and Dec 1 2018, probably to unlock shit. This is in the last 10 posts which go back to 2018.
Also he may have been in a "Tiger King" situation.
But fuck me now I wonder what XI / XIV servers he played on.
Probably on Shiva because he was always Diamond, Dustin.
He wrote a book that was suppose to be a behind the scenes tell all about, "Saved by the Bell". In it he claimed his fellow cast members bullied him just like a real, "nerd". Also the others were all having sex with each other and the guy who played Mr. Belding was giving them drugs. This was all lies just to make a quick buck. The main cast were so angry about this that they had him cut off from any further shows, reunions.
Oh, and he also tried to kill a guy with a switchblade in a bar fight.
Chuck Kaye, Record producer for Warner who had signed Prince to the label and was also one of the founding partners of DreamWorks, covid
Edit: Correction, he was involved with the signing of Prince, but not the signee. He did sign a lot of artists over his career, though.
Alan Parsons, Bob Marley, The Beach Boys, Allee Willis, Steve Winwood, Traffic, Free, Cat Stevens, Bryan Adams, Mason Williams, Jefferson Airplane, John Bettis, Troy Seals, Will Jennings, Paul Williams, Billy Preston, Roger Nichols, Peter Frampton, Supertramp, John Lennon, Quarterflash, Michael Sembello, Dean Pitchford, David Foster, Michael Jackson, Yes, Madonna, Mr. Mister, Mötley Crüe, Scorpions, Albert Hammond, John Bettis, Troy Seals, Jerry Leiber, Mike Stoller, Papa Roach, Lifehouse, Powerman 5000, and Jimmy Eat World.
Halo he giveth, and Halo he taketh away.
Divinity, the pet dove of Prince, has died at age 28.
Incoming doves cry jokes
RIP to a real one: 2021 continues to suck.

Obituary from Billboard

Thanks for sharing that article. His wiki page doesn't give him nearly enough credit for how much he did for the music industry.
Songwriter Jerry Leiber lived with the family for a time, which is how a young Kaye became the inspiration for The Coasters' hit songs "Yakety Yak" and "Charlie Brown" -- an early sign of the various marks on music history Kaye would leave behind.Kaye also understood that the burgeoning home video and cable businesses would dramatically boost revenues for film song copyrights in the 1980s, and pitched and landed many songs for placement on top soundtracks, including "Up Where We Belong" for An Officer and a Gentleman, "Maniac" for Flashdance and "Arthur’s Theme (The Best That You Can Do)" for Arthur.
