He realistically killed thousands, perhaps 10k old people by forcing nursing homes to accept covid+ patients.
He has more bodies on him than anyone except Trump. Killed more New Yorkers than Mohammed Atta.

The only metric by which Cuomo's handling of covid isn't a total disaster is "did he close the bars and make you put on the chin diaper" which is a pretty low bar, yet somehow a bar a majority of states still fucked up pretty bad
I mean, we sent covid positive cases back to nursing homes...hospital didn't have room for asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic cases...but the nursing homes were prepared and had their own covid units.
That's what I mean. Where was New York supposed to send all these old people? Their own families mostly didn't want them, that's why theyre already in a home and not in their children's spare bedroom lol

IIRC even NYC never came close to filling up their hospital capacity during their first wave. The decision to send the oldies home was made prematurely.
I really just want to know where else they were supposed to station all these people. NYC was pretty bad afaik, didn't they have a hospital ship at port at one point? If they sent non elderly patients back home when they didnt have severe symptoms, where were they supposed to send the elderly?

This in and of itself wouldn't be the scandal it is (because they had few options and none of them were good) except that:
1. Cuomo tried to cover it up for political reasons and
2. It's coming out simultaneously with sexual misconduct allegations.
