sure everyone is excited for their teams to hire shiny new head coaches, but the browns , THE BROWNS, just won an actual road playoff game without a coach so really, who cares. this is why the eagles have not hired a head coach, jason kelce will just take over duties as player/coach
anywho
a rough start to the gambling olympics last week with a 2-4 record, it’s time to turn things around (unless welt makes the same picks as me again, then we’re doomed). lines are current on fanduel as of Friday afternoon:
Packers vs. Rams: the rams defense was able to stifle the seahawks, but have key members dinged up and there might be some bortling here. Ramsey may be able to shut down adams but ar12 can literally throw it to anyone at any time. Packers -6.5
Bills vs. Ravens: I have concerns about the bills defense after letting the colts pretty much do anything they wanted on offense until they got to the red zone. the ravens defense should offer more resistance as well. congrats to bills mafia on their first playoff win in decades, but now they get made like pesci in goodfellas. Ravens +2.5
Chiefs vs. Browns: the browns will be closer to full strength here and will need it against the chiefs. people say the chiefs “sleepwalked” through the season, but that sleepwalking led them to a 14-1 record until they TANKED IN WEEK 17 and mahomes was in the conversation for MVP the whole way. I don’t buy the chiefs not being ready for the playoffs. the browns will shorten the game with their running game, but the chiefs will win. I’ll take the browns +10 on a back door cover.
Saints vs. Bucs: god damn it i don’t want to bet on shitass tom bardy. the saints basically dominated the bears but it took for fucking ever for the game to feel that way. The Bucs offense will be much more adept at keeping this game interesting. I will pick the saints to win, but Bucs +3.
