oh please let that happen
Apparently, the meeting discussion for the Hall of Fame took 13 seconds between the 48 selectors for Peyton Manning lol.
surprised it took that long
It was probably over a zoom call so that added a few seconds
Yeah, the first 7 seconds were people saying “can you hear me?”.
Reports now live that Rodgers will demand a new contract. He is going to tax the fuck out of Green Bay or force a trade lmao.
he's already making $37,072,000 in 2021 and $39,852,000 in 2022. how much more can he realistically get, another million or two?
He’s due to make $22.35 million in 2021, $25.5 million in 2022, and $25.5 million in 2023.
https://overthecap.com/player/aaron-rodgers/1085/
dunno where those numbers come from but overthecap has his base salary, prorated bonus, roster bonus, workout bonus, & other bonus equaling 37m in 2021, ect, etc
Lmfao.
Archi’s numbers are right and as another source stated, he is making about the same as Goff. He deserves a lot more than Goff. I think some of their cap hit was paid to him awhile ago for future years as signing bonus. Rodgers is basically telling them “you’re going to trade me or your cap is going to me.” The “Love Tax” as Mortensen put it and I’m here for it!
Edit: this off-season is going to be fucking awesome, even if nothing happens with a lot of these names.
You're an ancillary bone.
i mean if we're completely discluding signing bonuses rodgers makes more money than deshaun and mahomes, the two highest paid qbs. watson makes 10m yearly cash in 2021 and mahomes makes 22m yearly cash in 2021
... i have a feeling you cant just magically ignore one of the largest portions of your contract in terms of negotiations otherwise every player would ask for new money directly after they receive their signing bonus. you usually get 1/3rd of your contract the day you sign it... players would be scamming teams by demanding a trade the day after you've gotten your signing bonus
