Thanks! So definitely these market rises are not realistic in the long term.

Theaters were not doing well pre-pandemic.
Disposable income and free time was down, ticket prices were going up, less asses in seats.
Then The Mouse was squeezing them on the back end of things, which only gets worse with Fox. Moviepass, etc.

At the risk of being meme'd on, between the FUD coming out and the traditionally bearish patterns being printed, I just want to lock in my profits. I'm 100% out of AMC but I'm waiting to see if GME can break ~329 and hold it before the end of the day. If it doesn't, I'm out.

There's a lot of normie and reddit money in this, yes, but there is also now a ton of trad investment money seeking easy profits and the intraday action on GME all day feels like a trading algorithm is dominating.

I've decided that I'm middle class, I've cashed enough for an OLED, all my initial investment, and a little more. I'm riding the rest of this out til the shorts are settled and I make an unthinkable amount of money. Or this gets fixed and falls through and I lose what I have. I'm happy with what I've gotten out of this already.
