How slow are you playing

If you don't know, you're supposed to die in the first real fight, once you die that's when you get your weapons.

I died like 20x to the first mutant dog before I killed him (double KO actually) now I'm wandering through town killing random townsfolk. Never got a weapon so far?

go back to the Hunter's Dream and read all the thingamajigs on the ground, the ones on the staircase leading to the house specifically, they give you your starting weapons and the journal i think

i am very dumb and got lost in elden ring multiple times including once where the game specifically said “go to this spot on the map” but even i found the weapons laying on the floor in the hunters dream
