If you really want a hall effect controller just grab an 8bitdo ultimate on amazon (or maybe best buy).

LMAO those things are trash. Cheaper alternative sure, but the QC there isn't much better.

Some of the older models yeah, though I have nothing but good experiences with more recent models of 8bitdo (the arcade sticks, m30s, ultimates)

8bitdo has made numerous good controllers with generally small flaws at most. they're pretty solid overall

I ordered an ultimate from them, arrives tomorrow and once confirmed working, will return the Kong to Target.

Got thirty days on the 8bitdo and if it sucks, I'll just go back to official and see how long I can avoid drift.

the trick is to get hit and not hit

i can do that part pretty well. but the trick seems to be timing shots and parrying/staggering fools before pumping viscerals. so many enemy types i've never hit with a visceral, nvm the fancy boss kills

also hitting enemies with a charged attack in the back to stagger. i think rly gud players do that lots too i dunno

Saturdays are for steaks. I normally go for NY Strips but the store was sold out so I made my first attempt with Ribeyes. More fatty than I am used to but it turned out good. I also vastly overestimated how much crushed garlic I would need so I had a lot leftover. Since we don’t waste food in this house I made another one. Second one was better, but that might also be because I was halfway thru my 6 pack of summer shandy. Neat.
