New DLC for Rogue Trader dropped and the game has already had 3 different emergency patches today on Steam for all the shit it broke.
Good ole Owlcat
i've only finished the prologue but smooth sailin for me. real glad they learned their lesson from Wrath of the Righteous and you can tell from the first hour the extra content is integrated into the main campaign instead of the alternative/extended narrative junk they used to do.
Yeah I didn't even realize at first that I was doing the Void Shadows DLC when it came up.
Compared to the Pathfinder games I really appreciate how stuff isn't on a timer with the game. There's some stuff where the narrative will slightly change depending on how quickly you do it, but it doesn't lead to you missing some events or gear
how far into ol girl are you? i only ever completed the first act back when it released, looking forward to getting into the meat of the game
I'm very close to the end of Act II afaik, like 40-50 hours maybe, level 36 or so? Been really taking my time doing everything possible.
I paused when it became clear that DLC 2 was coming out soon. Played for a bit during my lunch break but was immediately getting hit in the face with some pretty bad bugs so gonna give it a few more days for them to shore it up.
At least looking over the patch notes it looks like they finally released an update that didn't nerf Argenta, which seems to be a running theme for every update since release. She's been nerfed into the fucking ground since release and is still hands down the best carry in the game.
I think I quit playing because it was generally too easy once I got the melee characters to a certain point.
I enjoy the absurd lengths to which you can push your characters via all the stacking buffs you can apply. It's not uncommon to have Argenta kill literally every single enemy in an encounter on a single turn if they're not too spread out
I heard y'all were talking shit about pathfinder. There's a time limit, but it's really inconsequential. It's to stop people from running all around the map and trivializing it. You have more than enough time to do basically everything, much in the same way as fallout 2.
In this age of clickbait headlines, it's refreshing to see one that gives you the meat up front.

Just had my 4th interview for this Rotten Tomatoes Product Manager job...
and now I wait to see if I get a 5th
will this process ever end
also I'm running out of jobs to apply for, I'd better fucking get this one I stg
Jesus 4 interviews? Just give you the job already.
I'll never understand companies stringing people along for a half dozen fucking interviews. Should be absolutely no more than 2, maybe 3 tops to decide to hire someone.
they don’t think you’re dedicated enough
you need to bring a rotten tomato to the next interview and eat it in front of them
Took me 3 interviews to get my job. The last interview was a paid dinner.
I went through I think 2 interview rounds for my current job, didn't get it, was called again 3 months later because the guy they did hire quit, had to essentially redo my 2nd interview again, and then got the job.
