SB's culinary scene punches way above its weight tbh given its identity as coastal getaway for LA / Summerland-Hope Ranch-Montecito affluence / immigrant destination.

As far as SB goes, I guess check out Solvang. It's p much Denmark. Get some chocolate at Ingeborg's. Don't know of any restaurants there because my friends are cheap and we end up defaulting to the Red Viking smorgasbord.

I was told Roscoe's Chicken and that there was a food market somewhere with a bunch of vendors. Coming in from Santa Barbara and staying in Santa Monica for the night. Will have a car, but also a toddler that gets carsick.

They might be referring to Grand Central but it's gentrified as fuck now.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll try to go through and see what we're able to hit up within the time frame. I know a day isn't much, will likely spend more time at some point. We just happen to be flying in for a wedding in the bay area.
