I left Middle Earth: Shadow of War at 92% completion like three years ago because the endgame is kind of a grindy bullshit gauntlet of tower raid/tower defense. Tried to pick it back up this weekend to finish. I got killed during one of the tower defense portions to some cheap bullshit (ranged orc that had No Chance trait so I didn’t get to use any of my three banked Second Chances) and it literally sets you back HOURS because then you have to retake the tower and build it back up again and then try to defend. I don’t even wanna continue.

Feels like I'm getting close to the end. Have a few of the strongest weapons, completed all the Chocographs, wrapping up those Friendly Monster and Ragtime Mouth quests now. Trying to get Excalibur as well, I guess Excalibur II you can't get on your first playthrough?

You can but you have to blitz the game and skip anything not plot related. It's actually a lot easier with Turbo enabled though because the game timer doesn't accelerate with the turbo mode so you have a way bigger cushion than before, and you can skip FMVs now.

You can also just edit your Steam save if you just want it for the trophy/accomplishment.

If you're gonna use some kind of save editor solely for the purpose of getting the achievement just use Steam Achievement manager

Also kind of sad that the new house doesn't have a walk in joint unless we want to scrap the wet room. There's no additional room on the top floor to expand anything.
