To my understanding, if anything happens with Rodgers it’s going to be after June 1st which lightens the cap hit GB would take in dead money?

if they trade him now it's 31m in dead money this year, 17m next year, and 2m the final year
post june it's 14m in dead money this year, 14m next year, and 2m the final year
so yeah if they go down that road it's better to do it later. they have their future qb on the roster already so there wouldn't be any scramble to try and get the new qb acquainted with the play book
To be fair, the article did state it was a series of decisions where Rodgers wasn't involved that continuously made him look foolish in public. The Kumerow guy was just the straw that broke the camel's back.
By comparison the Vikings gave more respect to Kirk Cousins over a third round pick with Kellen Mond with a courtesy call beforehand than GB did with Rodgers and Love.
It should behoove an organization to keep their reigning MVP HoF QB in the loop of what's going on.
Favre/Rodgers vs Rodgers/Love is a totally different scenario.
Favre had already been discussing retiring for a few years up to that point, and Rodgers was a potential #1 overall pick who fell to the Packers. Rodgers meanwhile wants to play well into his 40s and the Packers (who had just made the NFC Championship) traded up for a project QB and followed that with drafting a 3rd string RB. When they should been focusing on the present they instead made a bunch of draft picks that did nothing to improve the current roster.
But with all of these things it's not the one specific player being drafted/cut that bothers Rodgers, it's the front office continually giving him zero input or a heads up into the personnel decisions. When a player of Rodgers caliber keeps seeing that while his peers (Brady/Mahomes/Wilson) are able to talk to the front office and offer suggestions as to how the roster can be improved, it's easy to understand his frustration.
Rodgers doesn't even answer phone calls from his mom or dad. They is 0 chance he is actually helping Love in any way, no matter what comes out of his/Packers camp. There is a reason the guy didn't even dress out last year, beyond it just being an all-time dumbest draft selection.
The story about Kumerow was initially reported as the "last straw" and reiterated by more sources as recently as this morning. As dumb as it sounds, its likely accurate since all of this is leaking from Rodger's camp.
The fucking Bears told Andy Dalton that they were drafting a QB, and hasn't even played a game for the Bears yet. LOL
Fuck the Packers
I love that everyone is on Aaron's side except the Packers until he goes somewhere else, then its back to hating him unless he is on your team.
As long as he's not on the Rams/Seahawks/Cardinals more power to him
I'm just happy the Colts traded for Wentz before this became a thing. Praise be.
Aight, Rodgers has taken this shit next-level:

Its ok though, they have an absolute beast in Aaron Jones that can carry the team, whose success was not directly caused by Aaron Rodgers.
Dolphins cut team captain Bobby McCain.
