that thread is tremendous, reconciliation is an absurd practice.
but nah ya Dems could pass a budget resolution real quick in October of 2022 (though apparently no one can agree on the precedent of two reconciliations in one calendar year). but with elections the month after lotta risk there. almost guarantee nothing would get reconciled before November with election campaigns in full swing, and their outcomes could dictate whether or not they go through with it in a lame-duck or healthy duck session.
so i guess we're both kinda right eh, there isn't going to be a third reconciliation before the midterm elections (or at least i would be extremely surprised if vulnerable Democrats stamped off on that shit weeks before voters head to the polls when Dem losses are already probable). but they could ram through another measure after the elections even if they lose and are willing to eat the backlash, or if they win and see it as a mandate.
THERE WILL BE NO MORE RECONCILIATION BILLS TILL THE NEXT MIDTERMS AFTER INFRASTRUCTURE I AM TECHNICALLY CORRECT
quod erat demonstrandum
no i didn't
You son of a bitch I don't have time for your lies
Get a room you two.
looks like they just quoted her own words?
Nuance is too hard for day. We know this.
No he's right, those are certainly words she said, I'm certain that the way they're presented in the tweet is wholly representative and no further context from how they might appear in the actual interview is needed.
