Holy Shit Kazuhiro Furuhashi? He is the director of Gundam Unicorn and Kenshin OVA. Also, WIT Studio and CloverWorks? Please be god tier Animation.

YES YES YES YES if that rumor is true. It's an amazing manga and extremely funny (backed by good art). The main characters are cool. You have the male MC, a waifu MC and a moe MC and the way their dynamic works it just melds together so well!

Not the most credible site, especially when it comes to 'a proven totally reliable anonymous source told us' kind of shit, so I'm not gonna make a thread or anything, but allegedly HBO is trying to do a live action Berserk.
If it can be done right (and I'm highly skeptical) it would have to be on something like HBO that wouldn't tone it down, and hopefully have a big budget, but it just sounds like a bad idea.

Given the success of the Witcher, I think it makes sense to try. Of course, as anime live action adaptations go, there's plenty of room for shit to go south. I think the main issue is they'd practically need GoT tier investment without writing deviation and a plan for the ending once they get to it. Miura no longer being around to offer any sort of blessing on scripts is also a bad sign. Plus the West still has their unfortunate bias against "weeb shit" and will probably be skeptical by default if any promo material doesn't nail it out of the park.

This show screams troubled production. The blatantly photobashed backgrounds, are a very obvious indicator of that.

Dinosaur War Izenborg (Rewatch).

What a great and fun series. Part of the enjoyment, though, is definitely in the stuff that goes on, and that's all because it's a 70s production through & through. I miss when we had horror elements to these show. these bits give the show some surprising violence to it. By the way the show had top talent of the time, directed by Toru Sotoyama (who was also behind the Ultraman) and written by Masaki Tsuji (who wrote series such as Cyborg 009, and Tiger Mask) and Ifumi Uchiyama from a story by Hiroyasu Yamaura (who wrote numerous Ultraman series, as well as Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla).
