Family loved the movie and kids watched it twice already. Wish this was released in theaters, I haven’t laughed that hard at a movie for awhile.

Enjoyed it a lot too. Loved some of the art style techniques they used and overall such a fun and silly experience

Without Remorse was damn good thanks to Michael B. It's very predictable, but he put on one hell of a performance. The action is a lot grittier and has a more realistic feel than usual as well.

Agreed, Jordan was great in that. This was definitely better than the post-Ford ones, but probably lands around Patriot Games if I were to put that up against the Ryan ones. Good enough for me to want more, at least.

I watched Without Remorse and was without satisfaction. The action was very gritty, yes, and Michael B played his character really well, but nobody except the Liet Gen were memorable. The plot felt like it wanted to be an Equalizer/John Wick but also Black Hawk Down. Pick a lane.

My friends were like "oh [generic white army grunt] didn't die last scene? Oh wait this is someone new? Who are we supposed to care about, again?"

I have no clue how Kelly's character resolved his issues with the CIA director. That entire lead up with the suicide manifesto had me believing the CIA was in on everything. Just overall all over the place, I would need another watch to understand what happened here.

Also, the bathroom scene with Guy Pierce was horrible. I thought that was Michael's worst acting, but it wasn't helped by the shit tier script and "gotcha" moment.

Some of the action squences were pretty well done imo. The plane crash for example.

There were also some... bizarre... choices imo, namely
    Spoiler: show
Why show his sleeping wife getting murdered but then try to play it up as a dramatic reveal when he finds out? It felt like it just robbed any drama or surprise from the scene. "Oh noooo what is he gonna find??? oh yeah the dead wife we just murdered on screen" Idk, maybe it didn't bother anyone else but it just seemed weird to me.

Plane crash was dope, gave me survival horror vibes. Really liked it. His motives for risking his life were always on the spot and not built up at all, though (except the last one).

Like I said, if Michael B hadn't been so on point, the movie would have horrible. He made it a decent watch. And idk how you thought it was all over the place tbh. That was the biggest weakness imo. It was extremely simple and predictable. Trash script salvaged by acting and cinematography.

I mean it was set up as a revenge plot but also a mystery whodunit. I thought it would have been better if they stuck to one theme and did it right. Instead the revenge plot was neutered and the mystery reveal was dull.

I watched the entire Jupiter's Legacy season so you don't have to.

It's to The Boys what Justice League is to The Avengers.

Oxygen on Netflix was good for an hour and 30 minutes, but the last 15 were not particularly great and the ending felt rushed. For a movie that was essentially one character in a small box for 98% of the movie, it was really well done.
