Without Remorse was damn good thanks to Michael B. It's very predictable, but he put on one hell of a performance. The action is a lot grittier and has a more realistic feel than usual as well.

Agreed, Jordan was great in that. This was definitely better than the post-Ford ones, but probably lands around Patriot Games if I were to put that up against the Ryan ones. Good enough for me to want more, at least.

I watched Without Remorse and was without satisfaction. The action was very gritty, yes, and Michael B played his character really well, but nobody except the Liet Gen were memorable. The plot felt like it wanted to be an Equalizer/John Wick but also Black Hawk Down. Pick a lane.

Some of the action squences were pretty well done imo. The plane crash for example.
There were also some... bizarre... choices imo, namely

Like I said, if Michael B hadn't been so on point, the movie would have horrible. He made it a decent watch. And idk how you thought it was all over the place tbh. That was the biggest weakness imo. It was extremely simple and predictable. Trash script salvaged by acting and cinematography.

Oxygen on Netflix was good for an hour and 30 minutes, but the last 15 were not particularly great and the ending felt rushed. For a movie that was essentially one character in a small box for 98% of the movie, it was really well done.
