I'm famous, wow.
Let's start this thread off right
@Ksandra
Cops can lie to get information. Nothing was put on paper.

Never heard anything about this, premiers 4/29 though. I know Studio Mappa has been involved in a lot of stuff, but never seen any of it. This looks pretty sweet. 6 episodes being debuted. Got curious, and the character is actually based on a historical figure.

From Archer creator Matt Thompson.
In this wildly tongue-in-cheek animated revisionist history, a chainsaw-wielding George Washington assembles a team of rabble rousers — including beer-loving bro Sam Adams, famed scientist Thomas Edison, acclaimed horseman Paul Revere, and a very pissed off Geronimo — to defeat Benedict Arnold and King James in the American Revolution. Who will win? No one knows, but you can be sure of one thing: these are not your father's Founding… uh, Fathers.
June 3rd.
The Sailor Guardians’ latest set of adventures unfold in April, when the cherry blossoms of Tokyo are in bloom, and the Japanese capital is in a festive mood, as it celebrates the largest Total Solar Eclipse of the century. As the new moon obscures the sun and gradually dims its light, Usagi and Chibi-Usa encounter Pegasus, who is in search of the chosen Maiden who can break the seal of the Golden Crystal. At the same time, a mysterious troupe called the Dead Moon Circus appears in town, their nefarious plan being to scatter nightmare incarnations known as Lemures, to seize the ‘Legendary Silver Crystal,’ and to rule over the moon and earth, eventually coming to dominate the entire universe.
Damn didn't realize Fall Out Boy had as much lore as Coheed and Cambria.
I mean, you could write a novel from the track titles alone.
Episode 3 of Yasuke and we already at Cell Saga.
But are we still in Soul Society?
The Mitchells vs The Machines.
Such a crazy, hilarious, over-the-top animated film that is about a family trying to take a road trip across the country while a smartphone/robo-apocalypse is happening all around them.
Dog is amazing.
Yasuke was fine, but was too short for any sort of character development. The protagonist had a few flash backs to give you an idea of what he fought for, but he goes from drunkard to sober over an episode then he's the big man on campus. The side characters get no world building before being removed from the show. The main antagonist spent decades building an empire to losing everything in what seems like a week. We don't know where they came from only that they came through and demolished Oda's empire. The mecha is never explained. The magic has a Ninja Scroll like feel, but is also not fleshed out. Everything about this series aside from the art and music feels like a rush job.
The Mitchells vs The Machines.
Family loved the movie and kids watched it twice already. Wish this was released in theaters, I haven’t laughed that hard at a movie for awhile.
Honestly, when I saw the mecha appear within like the first minute, I knew I was in for a bad time. Rushed may be one way to put it, but I can't really see more time with past Yusuke or even learning more about the mercs helping the overall narrative.
Spoiler: show
