I’m sort of staggering the episodes so I don’t have to wait for them to be released so to speak. I too am enjoying the art style. It reminds me of Dishonored. Just finished episode 3, looking forward to the rest.
got around to Gangs of London. action crime-drama revolving around a long-time peace in London exploding and the gangs warring with each other in the fallout (Albanians, Travellers, Kurds, Pakistanis, black + white English, etc) from the director of The Raid films. the violence is spectacular, breathtaking, Gareth Evans has firmly planted himself as the greatest action director of our era. dramatic bits are better and weightier than his past efforts as well. 5/5 weaponized glass cigarette ashtrays. never been anything like this on TV.
yeah it was pretty fun, the episode where the military dudes attacked the house the kid and his (unkillably awesome) dad was just absolutely insane from an action choreography standpoint. by the end of the season the writing had started to annoy me a bit but im still gonna watch and enjoy the hell out of the next season
edit: fun may not be the right word but fuck it i'll stay with it
Gangs of London was pretty dang cool. High highs. But low lows for that show. A lot of it can be dreadfully boring at times.
No real knowledge of the source material, but Marvel's Hit-Monkey on Hulu is fun and ridiculous, imo.

Hilda is getting a movie to bridge season 2 into season 3. It's called "Hilda and the Mountain King" and is based off of the graphic novel of the same name. The film releases in 2022 and will be 85 minutes long.
We rejoin our heroine for her latest adventure just as she awakes to find herself…in the body of a troll! Her mum is worried sick, and now has to deal with the strange creature that seems to have taken Hilda’s place. Now, both of them are in a race to be reunited before Ahlberg and his safety patrol get the chance to use their new secret weapon to lay waste to the trolls, and Hilda along with them!
Finished up Arcane, can't wait for season 2 with that cliffhanger. Amazing show all around.
Edit: The soundtrack for act 3 .. wow
Yeah this was the best show I've seen in a long time. Maybe my only complaint is I suspect there will be some plot armor that saves a few people from the events of the last episode, but otherwise the show never took the easy way out.
Unrelated, I'm binging the live action Cowboy Bebop. Maybe this makes me a bad person but I'm having a blast. Got 2 eps left.
Very positive review, Glad to hear Studio Bones included top talent animators and Staff.
Opening
Reminder the show will be out on December 1st
The solar opposites Christmas special is pretty damn good.

Script for an unreleased BoJack scene that Netflix cut because they didn't want to upset David Fincher.
This is awful and CG is so lifeless. Losing Netflix money has really hurt Dreamworks TV production.
I was really looking forward to the show(this a sequel to How to Train your dragon).
