Probably the most relevant thread to post this in, do I need PS Plus to play online against a friend? I know once upon a time it wasnt necessary, but my google fu is telling me that its necessary.

I think any game that doesn't have its own subscription fee (FFXIV, Elder Scrolls Online, that Star Wars MMO) requires PS+ to play online, yes.

I still play 18 with my boy when one of us visits each other. He bought 21 but neither of us have played it. I might gonna get 22 when it comes out, but I also might not because who they put on the cover, again.

I got 21 this summer when it went on sale on the ps store for like 20 bucks

It's a totally different game now Melena. Can't just create your own guy and be like Speed 99, Hitting 99, Shot 99, Passing 99 etc. You level/skill things up, though I guess that has been a staple in multiple sports franchises for years

Just so long as it's not as broken as 94 was where I could take the entry level Ottawa senators on a perfect season and average 20+ goals a game while playing 5 minute periods, I'd probably be happy.
