No thanks. I'd need Emanuel to win out altogether as my sole player left lol. Which is probably still the case regardless by the way standings are looking right now.

If you told me after Fessy got bounced that anybody could be within striking distance of Xno before the final, I'd think you're crazy. This team phase has had Headspace absolutely feasting, and if there are male/female winners, he's got the 1-2 punch of Tori/Kaycee. Losing one or even two of the guys might not even be that big a deal.

How fucking stupid that Emanuel had to do two eliminations in the same night. Who the hell did the producers expect who the vote would be under those circumstances?

Anyways I want commissioner points for that amazing dance move Emanuel pulled off before the start of the elimination. That twirl was pretty godlike.

I think this is Headspace's to lose unless both CT *and* Nany win a final. Or at least come in 2nd for Nany. Even then, seems difficult.

I was more annoyed at the brain-dead production decision to give the girls a completely physical elimination and the guys a completely mental elimination

What a fucking freebie for both Tori and Devin. The cherry on top was the brilliant triple puzzle, so if the underdog manages to be better at one type of puzzle, it's unlikely they're better with another two puzzles

Judging by the preview, the cells might actually be fairly even in the next round. CT is pretty clearly the strongest guy, but everyone else in the cast has pretty significant weaknesses. Devin could very well be dead weight on endurance portions and editing has alluded to this in multiple episodes this season

As an FYI, I'm going down to LA next weekend to watch three games in four days at SoFi, and we leave Wednesday morning, so I probably won't be scoring the final until I get back the following Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm guessing it will be pretty obvious who won, but maybe not.

I'm not going to really feel bad for Tori, but she kind of got a little screwed.

CT and Kaycee being the winners of this season is... fine. They both had strong seasons. How far do you have to go back for a winning finals performance as bad as Kaycee's?

Throwing everything out to have them climb a hill and remember a number so that they can have "finish line suspense" is not a good response to last season not being close.

At least Devin was a flop. "I played the perfect season."

That "night of eliminations" should be a teaching moment, but it won't be. Emanuel was with Kaycee every round of the season and she still voted him. Has she even talked to Kyle or Nelson in however many seasons she's been on? The teaching moment about Kaycee could have been last season when she dumped Leroy for Fessy at the end. These people couldn't be expected to know that, and so long as MTV keeps casting these randos who haven't seen the show, the next batch won't either.

Yeah I didn't think it was fair that the "losers" (Kaycee and Kyle) got to pick partners first

Kaycee's only punishment was a freebie elimination against her girlfriend.

Tori and Kyle should've fucking won though, they have to be kicking themselves. Unless the editing was deceiving, they had a chance to enter their code correctly first and win

Yeah, it seemed like either team could have won that if they had it right on the 1st or even 2nd try, but it's really difficult to tell how long they were at that. Once they started SHOUTING NUMBERS and were inputting side-by-side to the time that CT/Kaycee got it, you could tell me it was 40 seconds... or 10 minutes with all the cuts back and forth/confessionals thrown in. Plus there's the matter of having no idea if/where mistakes were, or if they were towards the beginning or the end. They easily could have put numbers on the screen to show how they were doing, but their idea of "suspense" = literally having no idea what's going on. If that's a stop mid-way during the whole thing, then fine. Really don't like that at the end.

The final two eliminations (nelson and nany) were basically unwatchable

I was thinking the same keeping the same $800k CT and Kaycee did, but distributing a little differently so that 2nd got $60k each and 3rd $40k, something like that. I feel like finishing 2nd should be rewarded more than finishing 3rd.

Curious what would have happened had Nany been in 2nd or 3rd place, would she have pushed to give up more money?
