Hangman is no longer Omega's planned opponent. Let the rampant speculation begin. Not a fan of this move. This was the time to elevate Hangman after building this feud for YEARS. There's such a thing as waiting too long, and damaging the career of a guy who's been there since day 1 in favor of the debuting Big Name Talent is peak lolTNA.

I dunno I think it makes sense. This felt too soon to happen at All Out, Full Gear makes more sense to me. Hangman's whole story line got going when the Elite kept failing to support him when he fell, and we'll see the Dark Order stick with him and support him as he climbs back up the rankings.

Also with the likely arrival of Punk and Bryan those'll be the big stories for All Out, not Hangman's ascension to the top. I'd guess they'll feed Christian Cage to Kenny and then build Hangman back up to challenge at Full Gear. Which also makes sense in the PPV is technically named after Hangman.

Very good points, especially the 2nd one. Punk and/or Bryan debuting will absolutely overshadow anything else and they have to know that. So it would make sense pushing back Hangman's win even though now would have been a good time for it. Hangman finally getting the belt needs to be the highlight of the show when it happens.

That's what I'm thinking as well. If he continues to wrestle, I wouldn't mind seeing him in AEW with creative freedom, but they also don't need more people with everyone they've picked up recently. I think he could do great in Impact with Decay or Su Yung. No matter where he goes, I see him doing well.
