Jesus what a difference.
Jesus what a difference.
Someone on reddit mentioned the before picture, he looks like Alex Jones, and now I can't unsee it.
WWE apparently won't release Mustafa Ali from his contract, which has at least a couple years left on it.
How fucking hard was Mox drinking? That's goddamn night and day! Man, I'm glad he went to work on that...
If I'm Ali I just start retweeting every AEW and pro-unionization tweet I can find while sitting on my ass. "Independent Contractor" lol
Well, maybe not the union stuff since that would hurt future job prospects.
Not sure what games were on that night but this seems impressive.

It wasn't really big name matchups, but still quite impressive.
Viewership peaked at the start of the show (h2u2 Big Bang Theory lead-in) so the highest viewership was people watching Moxley tell that dude to go fuck himself
Which made for a beautiful gif response.
Rocky Romero popped hot for rona, no Roppongi Vice reunion tonight
Match tonight will be Trent vs Nick Jackson
Seth fucked up and addressed his previous shield member as "Mox"
Xia Lee THE PROTECTOR!!!
Lmaooooo
FINALLY a TV win for one of the Best Friends, feels like it's been forever.

How long are they going to drag out this Naomi storyline. I swear, I'm going to be drawing social security before we get the payoff.
Jade is still pretty rough around the edges in actual matches, but then she pulls off shit like that one armed powerbomb
I checked her wiki page and for wrestling, it lists a tryout at the Performance Center in April 2019 followed by beginning training at AR Fox's school.
For how short she's been doing this, she's doing really well even with the issues. She's just going to get better and better with more training/experience. That powerbomb seems like a sign of things to come from her.
One last thing worth noting is that Anna is still relatively new as well. She only started training in July 2018. So for as new as both of them are, they put on a great match. The future of women's wrestling looks great. They may not get a ton of tv time, but AEW has no problem giving them the main event.

More info came up regarding the WALTER/GUNTHER name thing:
From WON:
Someone in the Reddit comments posted this:Those close to him note he is politically very left leaning and comes from a working class family in Austria and they don’t believe had he personally known he’d have been okay with being named after a Nazi. In the past he never wanted to bring negative publicity to pro wrestling in Germany and this would have done so. Stark means “strong” in German. Gunther Stark, the Nazi U-boat commander is not that well known of a name in Germany or Austria. The belief is more that WWE came up with the name and failed to research it before trying to trademark it, or if they did find out, thinking the name was so little known that nobody would care.
A response to that comment even looked up WALTER's real name and it was associated with one.German here. You can Take any german name and you'll get a high-ranked Nazi. It's not THAT unusual.
So it seems that it probably wasn't intentional (even though it would seem on brand for some of them behind the scenes).
