Police drag paraplegic man from car by his hair.
This past summer a black man was killed by US marshals in Minneapolis who had claimed the man shot first, citing broken glass on the driver's side window as their proof, and that there was no video to refute their claim. Today the attorney for the county representing some of the officers who assisted the marshals clarified there was video and it was the marshals, using a hammer tool, who broke the glass on the driver's side window.

Body of woman missing for five days found...in unoccupied police van? Oof.
https://nypost.com/2021/10/18/cops-f...in-police-van/
Seems she wandered into it, locked herself in there because it's designed to be locked from the inside (meaning you can't unlock it if inside).

U.S. Marshals in Bradenton, FL target the wrong apartment in a raid. Marshalls with guns drawn threaten a mother holding a child while demand she tell them where the suspect is. The suspect was later found in an apartment down the hall.
Kada Staples and her newborn were asleep in their unit in Bradenton, about 45 miles south of Tampa, when two armed men approached her door Friday, according to doorbell video she posted on TikTok.
"U.S. Marshals. Come to the door!" a marshal can be seen and heard yelling into her door.
Staples said that she was putting her dog in a cage and that no one was home other than her and the newborn.
The other armed marshal said: "Tell him to come out with his hands up. We know he's in there. The place is surrounded."
Both marshals had their weapons trained on the door when Staples opened it, and they led her out as she continued insisting no one else was inside.
Staples' apartment "was not a target of the investigation," and "team members did not make entry," the U.S. Marshals Service said said.
There was no apology in the statement, which went on to say that if Staples had "not made contact with the team through the Ring doorbell, the team would not have had any contact with anyone" in her unit — even though video and audio revealed that demands that she come out with her hands up.“No! I don’t know a Shamar,” Staples can be heard sobbing.
In a fourth angle recorded by Staples on her phone, she tells the officers through tears that they came to the wrong apartment.
“You’re right,” one of the officers says as they begin heading downstairs. “You’re good.”
The Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force did not immediately respond to requests for comment. In a statement to FOX 13, however, a spokesperson explained officers only approached Staples’ home because a man matching their suspect’s description was seen nearby. They also told the station that they never entered the home, despite Staples’ claims that at least three of them did.

Looks like the cops lied about people filming a rape in progress and doing nothing to help.

uh? still not a good look for train passengers?? I dont see where they disputed the claim anybody filmed it either?According to Stollsteimer, initial reports lacked context: There weren’t a lot of people in the SEPTA car where the assault took place. Others who saw it were in and out of the train and might not have understood what was going on.
In other words, it was more complicated than the very black-and-white picture the cops tried to feed the public.
Yeah I don't see anywhere in the article where it disputes the initial claims. Just seems like a fluff piece to make Philadephians seem less like scum bag human beings and shift blame over to the police/metro cuz reasons.
An individual was still sexually assaulted while passengers ignored what was going on.
Not all rape is someone being pinned down being beaten while screaming rape. If you walk in and see two people having sex and no obvious distress you’re not going to automatically assume rape. Especially if you live in a large major city and see enough shenanigans on public transit, which happens. You as someone that allegedly investigated rapes should know that.

Wasn't sure if I should post this here or in the Covid thread, but it needed to be shared.
Spoiler: show
this bitch got out a bat over a mask lmao!
The only section of the federal law these two white people are referencing which would possibly apply to their situation is one that prevents lack of service on account of racial discrimination.

So, they committed a crime, videoed it, flagged down cops, and gave them the evidence of the crime they just committed.
Wow.
lmao at calling the police on yourselves and getting arrested embarrassing
Also *walks in with camera rolling and federal statute in hand* "we're just trying to get coffee."
Dumbass even admitted to the cop they chose that place specifically because they'd heard they enforce mask mandates.
