I transferred to a tiny ass server with the intention to enjoy a smaller spot, those no longer exist anywhere afaik. <_<;
What the fuck is that
She is a super popular Japanese VTuber that just started XIV so expect more server problems, she is basically Japanese Asmongold in terms of viewers
Peko
What the fuck is a VTuber
Am I old
So it's for ugly people or for people like gulk.
It looked like it was having a seizure, how fucking stupid lmao.
I'd say that's a relative limitation of using a Live2D model. Movement is as limited as its rigging allows and sudden movements can create the herky jerk feeling, loss of tracking aside if your face gets out of camera view. Personally, I prefer 3D models, but people tend to gravitate toward the 2D because the 3D is harder to make for and I'd say the associated tech is still a bit in its infancy and probably harder to run for folks on older systems.
That said, it's not just for uggos. Folks with social anxiety, women who don't want to cake themselves in makeup every stream to maintain a look, and those that just want to act a character can indulge. If Asmo's hardcore gamer tryhard persona can get a pass, there's no reason why any of these shouldn't, imo, and it creates an art market. Quality will be all over the place since there's no real barrier for entry, but not all try to be cutesy weebs, either. Everyone trying to be Hololive or some other group obviously isn't happening, but there are still tons of smaller communities for people that shouldn't be discounted for their own collective influences.
I'd use one just because there's too many crazies out there that try to dig into people's RL for whatever reason.
In general I don’t like most VTubers but Code Miko is hilarious and really does a unique broadcast. And she has invested tens of thousands of dollars into her mocap stuff.
Yeah, safety is also a concern if you "make it" enough for haters to care.
I you get big enough for people to try to track you down being a vtuber isn't going to stop them from finding you.
This guy I used to watch on and off would sometimes vtube as this dog bust
It was funny AF.
Edit. Ha, he still streams. Sorry SS is bad, on my phone.
