So rule of threes, who else gets nabbed before end of the day?
If Meatloaf and Louie Anderson were the first two we gotta be on the lookout for another 65+ fat guy who's moderately famous in his field.

i fuckin love gilbert
is this our breakfast at tiffanys?
I also prefer it to the Celine Dion version, and it's still my favorite Celine Dion song.
I Would Do Anything For Love by Marvin Lee Aday (a.k.a. Meat Loaf) is one of my favorite songs of all time. It came out shortly before I attended college (the first time), and that whole album fills my mental soundtrack of the memories of 1993-1994. Particularly the part where I played the song on repeat and tortured my brother. (Side note: I tried to get the DJ to play it at his wedding last summer, but we were out of internet reception range). I didn't discover the original Bat Out of Hell until much later, and had no idea about Rocky Horror Picture Show until even after that. Meat Loaf is one of my top five musical artists of all time.
I went to see him in January of 2011 (I remember the date because he said he wasn't sixty-three, he was sexty-three), and he put on one hell of a show. I was hoping he would tour again some day, but once I saw he collapsed on stage a couple of years back, I figured it was less likely.
Regardless, it is a sad day here at work. And if you come by, you'll hear a lot of dramatic power ballads coming out of my office, and you'd best not complain.
The literal version of his video for I Would Do Anything for Love is worth a watch, as well. Not sure why it is only on Vimeo and not Youtube.
Forgot the hook shot.
RIP meatloaf. I was just listening to the Bat out of Hell album last month and remembering how unique his style of rock and roll was.
I saw Dick Butkus trending and thought about this post, but it was just because he murdered a guy on Twitter

Also, this has to make Meatloaf one of the most famous COVID deaths right?
he’s up there for sure. would probably argue cloris leachman as the most prominent
he might be the most famous anti-vax case with herman cain right behind him
edit: nvm dumb, obviously cain died before the vaccine was available, he was just a moron
he does have a whole subreddit named after him!
Meat Loaf is not the kooky old right wing classic rocker that I would have preferred to see go, to be honest.
