Everyone keeps talking about the dumb whistle call when there were so many more idiotic calls/no-calls in that game. That roughing the passer call was one of the dumbest fucking flags all season.

Worst part of the whistle controversy is it’s taking away from what a ridiculous play from Burrow it was

I do. I’m willing to bet there’s been regular season games that are more “perfect,” for an offense.

Playoff wise, yeah, it’s gotta be the most complete offensive performance.

Also, .2 away man. Hard to say it was literally perfect when the QB doesn’t even have a perfect passer rating.

Of course, this is the definition of splitting hairs.

you can have a perfect passer rating and your team can still be kicking field goals. here's the full list of qbs that have had perfect passer ratings in a game and every single one of of them there was a field goal. in my opinion if your team had to settle for a field goal instead of a touchdown you didn't have the perfect offensive game

I’ll make it more obvious and say if you really really really wanted to nitpick it from a stats standpoint there are little bullshit things you could point to and be like “that one game back in 72’ was better cuz stat line perfect.”

I always hated passer rating because it undervalued "today's" QB's and always hated QBR because trent dilfer acted like he invented it and pushed it so hard and he was cut after winning a Superbowl.

But you can safely say Allen had a nearly if not a perfect game. Every drive a TD, 5 TD passes on only 4 incompletions which is like a college football Trevor Lawrence type stat that shouldn't exist in the NFL level. Also, the dude used his legs and ran for some pretty important yardage and first downs early when it was still a game.

He made great decisions and topped it off by fantastic play against a what, top 5 defense and one of the highest scoring defenses? And in a playoff game against a rival. Dude already showed flashes of MVP calibur play before but his ceiling, woof, It's up there.
