I think he really just doesn't want to return to the Bucs. They have like a laundry least of ppl who are unrestricted free agents. Might see Brady on 49ers or some other team.

All the void years they slapped on I think really only made this season viable for them to return the SB winning roster. They'll have to give up quite a few players going forward.

yeah the way that contract was created you'd think the plan was for 2022 to be bardys last year and the bucs can move cap money over bardys last 3 years to fit any dude they want in. then from 2024-2025 it's full on blow it all up mode
shitass could always change that plan mind you

They seem kind of fucked for 2022. Fournette, Jones, Suh, Gronk, Gholston , Jensen, JPP, Howard, Godwin, and more. Brown obviously gone. It was a 2 year window. I’m surprised Arians even wants to return, unless he just whats the check.
Maybe Winston makes a return!

And fwiw I think the only "source" so far on Brady announcing his retirement has been La Canfora who is not exactly reliable. Brady himself said he was gonna take a month or two to decide on it
