its gonna take some time for people to learn the matchup but ed looks annoyingly good. idk why they decided to give a boxer god tier neutral. his flicker is basically poison's whip except its also drive cancellable. he's got rashid's super whirlwind, dudley's stand fierce, an ex DP that beats fireballs from mid range AND his own fireball. char looks dumb as hell

His combo routes are super technical. Been trying to get down the sthp command dash late follow up and its not easy. Capcom learned their lesson from just frame tenko and made the input not plinkable.

Doing his combo trials I could definitely see he's not the character for me, but I absolutely appreciate the work they put into his combo design.

But yeah at first glance he feels aggressively overtuned. Probably by design with no Capcom Cup going on now so they can make everyone buy the OP character before nerfing him when the big balance patch drops right before Evo

His lvl 2 might be one of the most expressive things I've ever seen in a fighting game. There are so many ways to use it.

It's pretty similar to Potemkin's Giganter except paired up with a quick moving combo centric character as opposed to a big slow grappler.
