    Is there a compelling reason not to? I typically play spellcasters so I'm not sure if theres a fundamental reason why autoattacks should stay other than tradition. I think thats how Guild Wars 2 did things, and I know Monks in WoW were originally designed to not have that but they changed their mind for some reason.

    They would have to buff every job across the board by abouy 11-13% because that's what your auto attack makes up for in your overall damage. Might be less on phys range I dunno.

    The jumps all have different purposes. Combining them into just 1 spammy jump would be lame. Jump/High Jump for DPS, Spineshatter Dive is a gap closer + DPS, Dragonfire Dive is gap closer + DPS + AoE, and Stardiver is big DPS + gap closer + AoE. And then Elusive Jump (which I love using) is a space maker

    Getting rid of all the jumps for 1 generic one would be lame as fuck

    The tomes and crafting coming out early is going to bone someone out of 500 tomes for a i630 weapon. Either you throw it on your best DPS or you give to a sage or scholar for slightly fatter shields.

    The crafted stuff coming out early negate any benefit for having a good crafting group that can bust out a set before you set foot in the 2nd or 3rd fight.

    Also, the first (And second) fights are going to be numerically easier because world first ppl have +10 item levels that they usually wouldn't have.

    Also as a crafter I'm getting boned out of a good paycheck for alarm clocking w/ the world first people.

    I suspect you'll naturally get resistance from those who think the game's GCD is too slow and the removal of the 1-2-3 blah would just accelerate the boredom of having nothing to do. Some accounting would need to happen for branching paths, Monk in particular, but with how much priority the game puts on positioning, minimizing the stress of maintaining ability uptime would be a net win for the community at large. Then again, you're also going to have the gatekeepers that think not having 20+ step rotations is baby's game.

    Part of the fun of the game's rotation is how you fit them into fights. Personal 6.x highlight being maintaining uptime during nidstienian and squeezing as much potency into thordan as smn.

    One thing I NEED from Soken, is I think it was an April Fools video, the last few moments of the video he did a chiptune version of Rise, and unfortunately they've never released that as a bonus track or something.
